A new powerful, almost invisible has arrived. Without a word, in a flash, it spreads a reign of terror as far as the eye can see. Buildings destroyed, serious injury, and there was no telling of what happened. Without another thought, Sonic was ready to put the fault on the devious Dr. Eggman himself. Soon enough, Sonic - along with his buddies, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy - reach the doctor's base; ready for a fight. When he swiftly exclaims that he doesn't know of the event or what caused it - pleading he didn't create it ,associate himself with it, or even want it - Sonic just didn't believe him. He didn't want to believe him.
"Really? You expect me to believe that? After splitting this world apart? After threatening to obliterate it? After all the countless lives you ruthlessly put at risk?! Why SHOULD I have a reason to believe you?!
Just when Sonic was about to attack Eggman then and there, Knuckles came in to stop him just in time.
"WAIT!" Knuckles shouted. "Sonic... listen. You two have a long history together, I know. That, however, is not him. I, along with Amy and Tails, know very well when Eggman isn't messing around anymore, and you should've too. Does this look like his doing?"
Just when Sonic was about to give his two cents, a deep and faint voice showed up from no discrete location, and directed its words straight towards him. Everyone heard, "You... silly, desperate hedgehog! All this time of you saving the earth, the galaxy, and beyond. It saddens me just how you've forgotten."
"Forgotten," Sonic questioned. "Who have I forgotten?"
"Is that how you're gonna play. hedgehog? Well, you've forgotten an old friend at heart. I demand you to come over and give me what I most desire, or this precious world you hold so dearly will become a simple memory!" The voice had swiftly left, giving our heroes the hope that what the voice has "desired" was in their grasp, whatever it could me.

Now, I can bet what you're thinking. "Jacob, de fahk is this? This fan-fiction bullshit is one step too far! You're better than this!"
Yeah... I've officially reached uncharted territory as a Sonic fan; the fan-fiction creation.
Though, I still kinda need to explain this, don't I?
Well, this is "Blood Mist [W.I.P. Title]". A Sonic the Hedgehog fan-fiction about the biggest threat Sonic and the Gang must face, and they don't even know what the threat even is.
I've been wanting to make a full-on Sonic fan-fiction for the better part of a year now. Its' about time I begin that dream. I really began production on this around... June or July... when stuff like the plot events started. However (My old YouTube buds might remember this), you could argue that some plot points used in the whole thing has some ideas similar to my old AMV of mine, "Lead to Enurance", from 2015. So, in a sense, this started back in... September of 2015... Holy shit. -.-||
Anyway, I wish this to be the "Anti-Sonic fan-fiction." I want to bring in interesting plot points with little to no plot-holes, events in the story to put the readers on the edge, and most-importantly, I wanna make the characters exactly what the fanbase wants to see them as. For example, I'm making Knuckles similar to his Adventure 1 character - more wise and thoughtful, even with a few blocks in his head, as opposed to being a complete bumbling idiot like he is now. Plus, I wish to make Sonic a more believable character ,as opposed to a self-obsessed, narcissistic, asshat... yeah, I kinda hate the way Sega's been treating them recently.

My goal is to put my all into this - signify the top of my career as an internet-entertainer. That means that any suggestions for the story will be greatly considered. Want me to add a lil' spice? Go ahead and ask. Don't like a certain character or action and want me to alter it? Ask away. Just... try to keep the death threats to a minimum.
